Neville Wilkinson, Managing Director
Neville is the Managing Director of attenti. He has worked with many different organisations advising on leadership, transformation and the appointment of senior executives for over ten years.
He passionately believes that the best relationships between clients and consultants are developed over time, with real attention to detail and a focus on the long term, so when he works with clients he is always determined to do an outstanding job so that he can start to develop a longer term relationship. This has worked very well over the past few years and it is this success and experience that has helped develop the “attenti experience”.
Before working in Executive Recruitment and Consultancy he had a very successful career in local government. He started in Housing Management in Leicester where he learnt how public services are delivered on the ground and the impact on communities and then moved into a policy role. He then worked in Rutland County Council, a new unitary authority as a Chief Officer, developing services, building new teams and working corporately across the organisation with Members to deliver services to a dispersed rural community.
He has worked with clients in local government, the NHS, Health Charities and NDPB’s over the past few years assisting in the appointment of Non Executives, Chief Executives, Directors and AD’s/Heads of Service. More specifically he has assisted in the recruitment of Chief Executives and Finance Directors for not for profit organisations who deliver services to vulnerable people in communities and Chief Executives and whole top teams for Housing organisations. He has also recruited Chief Executives for Local Authorities so has a comprehensive network amongst Chief Executives.
With over 20 years of experience of working with and advising Boards and Elected Members he generates trust and reassurance with people he works with.

David Fielding MBE, Director
David leads the Not for Profit practice at attenti and focuses on recruiting Chair's, Chief Executives and Directors. He is one of the UK’s leading head-hunters and over the past decade has worked with a wide variety of private, public and top 100 Charities.
He is a special advisor to ACEVO (Association of Charity Chief Executives) and for the past ten years has contributed to debates around service delivery, governance, funding and trust. David is also a trustee for Equinox Care, a national alcohol and substance misuse charity
David is an OCPA Central List Independent Assessor and regularly advises on high profile Ministerial Public Appointments. Prior to becoming a head-hunter, David was a successful HR Director. He is a graduate of the Cabinet Office's Top Management Programme, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development has an MSc in Human Resource Development and an MA in Political Communications, Advocacy and Campaigning. He is a member of the Athenaeum and an ex World Record Holder and four time Aikido World Champion.

Serena Speller, Principal Consultant
Serena works as a Principal Consultant within the Not for Profit practice at attenti, focussing on the recruitment of chairs, chief executives and directors within the sector. Her career within executive search began at Rockpools. As Sector Co-ordinator and Head of Business Support she provided a support function to the company’s Not for Profit and Central Government teams and worked on a range of assignments for a number of high profile clients such as the National Autistic Society, NSPCC and Defra.
More recently, Serena was a key player in Tribal's government and not for profit practice, managing high profile assignments and taking a lead role in client and candidate engagement. Notable appointments include Chief Executives for the RSPB, NSPCC and RSPCA, Chairs of the Consumer Credit Counselling Service and AmicusHorizon Group, Company Secretary of the Social Investment Business, and the top team at Scope.
Serena has a true affinity with the not for profit sector, having started her career as a Programme Manager for BUNAC (a Not for Profit organisation which helps young people work and volunteer abroad), before moving on the British Heart Foundation.

Justine Fisher, Head of Interim Management
Justine heads up the interim management practice at attenti focusing on providing clients with efficient and cost effective interim resourcing solutions.Over the past 15 years she has worked with a diverse range of clients including local government, NHS, education, charities, housing, central government and the private sector.
Before joining attenti Justine was a Director at a specialist Public and Not for Profit Sector Recruitment Consultancy where she established many strategic recruitment partnerships covering a variety of disciplines, working with clients such as the London Boroughs of Croydon and Southwark.
Justine is a fellow of the institute of recruitment professionals and works closely with candidates and clients to establish ethical and transparent recruitment solutions that are designed to meet individual requirements.

Adam Herron, Chief Operating Officer
Adam Herron graduated in Business Administration from Cardiff University in 1995. In 1997 he started working for Eden Brown as a Recruitment Consultant. Over the next 6 years he progressed through the ranks to Director level. In 2004 Adam started Eden Brown Managed Services, which later changed its name to Matrix SCM, to run staffing contracts for public sector clients. After running this business for 4 years, and taking its sales from zero to over £100M per annum, Adam returned to the recruitment part of the business when Matrix was sold taking on the role as Chief Operating Officer for Human Capital Investment Group. In the last two years Adam has played a key role in the growth of the group project managing all acquisitions and new start-ups. At the same time he has developed the group operations functions to become a far more efficient and cost effective unit. Sitting on the board of attenti, Adam provides strategic advice and support to the business.
Adam is a keen runner regularly competing in full and half marathons. He also gives up a lot of his free time to chair the Finance & Premises committee of the governing board for two schools in St Albans where he lives.

Heather Salway, Director of Leadership & Development
Heather is the Head of Leadership and Development for attenti. She has a great deal of experience within this area having partnered and worked with many organisations in the public, private and third sector. Working closely with clients, her objective is to distil their leadership and development needs, then create exciting solutions which deliver for them.
For Heather, a real focus is establishing and developing long term relationships to enable her to truly understand her client’s vision for the future. That way we create a solution that's not only right for now but also for the future.
Heather's career spanning 25 years has allowed her the good fortune of working with and leading a superb team in providing leadership and development consultancy. Each team or organisation she has worked with has taught her something new, ensuring she is always adding to her portfolio of offerings and able to stay ahead of the latest thinking in development.
Her interest in Leadership and Development developed from her early career in Human Resources where she was Head of Personnel and Training for a large, successful private sector retailer, recruiting the right staff with the right skills to ensure they were providing an excellent service to their customers. She is a fellow of the CIPD and has worked with Human Capital Investment Group for 10 years. She is passionate about what she does - in an increasingly competitive arena for the best we can employ, it is integral for all forward thinking, innovative organisations to be at the forefront of leadership and development.
